What a thrilling journey it has been in the 2025 Master Chef competition! The semi-finals were absolutely fantastic, showcasing our talented young chefs. ๐ Our 8 semi-finalists truly impressed us with their culinary skills and creativity! Today we had an exciting and inspirational visit from best-selling childrenโs author, Mel Taylor-Bessent. During this high-energy assembly, we learned all about what inspired Mel to write, how she does it and that all you actually need is your imagination!!! Eli from Year 6 and Mr Mathew were put on the spot to perform a rap-battle from the book, which they absolutely nailed. Mr Mathew was good but Eli wiped the floor with him! Mel was incredibly complementary about our pupils, saying they were one of the best audience she has ever performed to. We know they are fantastic but itโs wonderful when people outside the school recognise it to. Well done, everyone!!
โMove it 2025 was yet again another fantastic evening showcasing the endless talents of the pupils at Orchards Junior School. It was wonderful to see all 200 smiling faces up on stage at Worthing Pavilion Theatre demonstrating months of hard work and learning. The children should be so proud of each and every performance as well as creating memories that will last a lifetime for all who watched them.โ
