Little Radio
There is a new FREE to listen, not-for-profit radio station for pre-schoolers…
‘Little Radio’ plays the best nursery rhymes and children’s songs along with classical, pop, folk, Latin…all music that is truly sensational, appropriate and joyful.
In these difficult times they’re offering a happy, safe space and a break from screens.
The on air talent includes CBeebies friends such as Chris Jarvis, Pui Fan Lee, Cat Sandion and Katy Ashworth, as well as stars from other channels including Bernard Cribbins, Naomi Wilkinson and David Wood. There are no commercials and all our contributors, on and off air, give their time and resources for free.
Four bedtime stories are broadcast every hour from 6.30pm until 9.30pm along with relaxing positive music that continues through the night until breakfast at 5.00am.
The station can be heard via an app that is completely free, just search “little radio” in your app store. It can also be accessed on line, via smart speakers and via Radioplayer.
