Over the next two days, you will be researching world rivers and producing a fact file.
What famous rivers do you know? Do you know the country/continent where they are located? Test yourself with the quiz. You will need the following sheet to write down your answers and access to the internet or an atlas to find the answers :
You now have the freedom to explore well known world rivers.
You can create a fact file of information about a range of rivers like this

Choose to explore one particular river in depth.
Explore the location of the river, naming its country and continent. You should organise your information into sections ensuring you include facts about the human use of the river as well as its physical features. Where necessary, you can include pictures and diagrams. You can present your work however you wish but ensure that you are producing high quality work which uses technical vocabulary.
