A Place to Sparkle
Thank you all parents and children who came along to our open evening – it was such a special event. Our Head Boys / Girls spoke passionately about their school experiences and the hundreds of returning children who helped were marvellous ambassadors for the school. It was an evening to be proud of the school indeed.
Congratulations to the Orchards’ Girls Year 5 and 6 football team who won the Worthing Area football tournament and now progress to the partnership finals.
Congratulations to the Orchards Gymnastics team – winners of the Worthing Schools’ 2024 competition. What a talented group they are.

Mr Parkinson is running the Brighton Marathon on 12th September! If you would like to sponsor him you can access the web-page below!
We will be starting clubs AFTER THE EASTER HOLIDAY and the portal opens tomorrow, Wednesday 24th March, at 8am! Parents will need to download the Arbor app, sign into their child’s profile and you will see all of the clubs that are available for your child. Consents are all given through the app, so there is no paper involved at all!
World Book Day is coming up this week – 4th March 2021! There are plenty of activities you can look at and the children will be given a book token in school that will allow them to receive a £1 discount on a book! Click below for more details!

As ever, we are always proud of what the children have achieved and the support they show to our local charities.
This half term there are a lot of activities online that the children may enjoy. The Interesting Invertebrates talk at 11am and 11:40am on Saturday is led by James Woodward, who leads the animal talks when we visit Drusillas Park!
