School Wellbeing
Orchards Junior School
At The Orchards Junior, we believe that every child deserves to feel safe, valued, and happy. Wellbeing is at the heart of everything we do—from the way we greet children each morning to the support we offer throughout the day.
We foster a caring and inclusive environment where children are encouraged to express themselves, build positive relationships, and develop resilience. Our staff are trained to support emotional wellbeing and are always ready to listen, guide, and nurture.
For children who may be finding things a little more difficult, we have dedicated learning mentors who offer one-to-one support, helping them navigate challenges and build confidence. These trusted adults work closely with pupils to ensure they feel heard, understood, and empowered.
Through regular wellbeing activities and a strong focus on kindness and respect, we help children grow not just academically, but socially and emotionally too. We work closely with families to ensure every child feels supported both at school and at home.
Together, we’re building a community where wellbeing thrives—and every child can flourish.
As always, if you have any concerns about the mental health and wellbeing of your child, please contact our school wellbeing Lead:
