We are thrilled to welcome you to Year 3, where an exciting and fun-filled year awaits! From earning your Buzzy Bee award to embarking on thrilling day trips and enjoying your very first adventure, we can't wait to share these amazing experiences with you!
Year 3 Rewards: Buzzy Bee/ Weekly Reading Raffle
Our wonderful Year 3 children can earn the Buzzy Bee award by working hard, showing kindness and having a great start to Year 3. We are also starting our new Bi - Weekly Reading Raffle.
Homework:
Year 3 children will be given a selection of homework tasks to complete in their homework book. They only need to pick one per week to complete.
The teacher would love to see it once it has been completed. We also encourage all children to read for at least 10 minutes each day with an adult and also complete TTRockstars for at least 5 minutes per day.
Dress up Days:
Stone Age Day: Is a day filled with activities and events based on the Stone Age. We would like to encourage all children to wear a stone age inspired outfit for the day.
World Book Day Celebration: 4th March 2027:
Tudor Day: Exploring the Tudors!
Greek Day: Children spend the day as Ancient Greeks, Trying food and exploring a fun day with a theatre group.
Day Trips: Weald and Downland Museum
As part of our History topic 'The Tudors', we plan a trip to the 'Weald and Downland' Museum at Singleton.

Year 3 children have the wonderful opportunity to embark on a fantastic adventure to Fishers Farm.
