Investigate the Effects of Water Resistance

Your challenge in this Science investigation is to make a paper boat that not only floats, but can travel quickly through the water. You could make a few different designs and race them, or if you have siblings, parents or carers to work with you can each make and then race your own individual paper boats. The aim of this experiment is to make the most streamlined boat, which therefore has the least water resistance and travels the quickest. This can be tested in the sink or bath, and parental supervision will be required to ensure boats are created and raced safely.
